Details:
For the immersive show “RING // REMIX – When Love Meets Power”, KAUSTIK produced part of the visual content on behalf of Projektil, under the direction of Moritz Flachsmann, for a monumental 360° projection in church spaces. The show reinterprets Richard Wagner’s Ring of the Nibelung and translates the classical narrative into a contemporary visual language.

Working within an interdisciplinary team, KAUSTIK was responsible for the modeling, texturing, and animation of selected scenes based on a predefined script. All 3D content was created in Cinema 4D and composited in After Effects to ensure precise alignment with the architectural projection surfaces.

The projection envelops the entire church interior—including side walls and ceiling—using the architecture itself as a narrative element. The visual focus on the ceiling enhances spatial depth and reinforces the immersive impact of the installation.

By combining site-specific projection, narrative imagery, and modern 3D animation, the project creates a powerful experience that presents The Ring of the Nibelung from a new perspective and reinterprets classical material in a contemporary way.
